I read this poem as a child and memorized it because I loved it so much. Now I can only remember the first verse but it is not written how I remembered it. I remember It was many and many a year ago in a kingdom by the sea A POOR LAD LOVED A HIGHBORN MAID beautiful Annabel Lee. Is there a variation like that? I can't think I would havemade up that particular wording as I was about 11.
