I own a 1996 peterbilt tractor unit in the usa with a custom sleeper i also have an american cdl licence,is my licence valid in europe for driving a truck? i have several safe driving awards,i also spent many years accident free driving trucks from eaurope to the middle east in the 70s although my european truck licence has long since expired.i wish to ship my truck from usa to spain and work throughout europe.will i need to take a european truck driving exam and if so what is the cost and what are the length,width and weight limits for europe? is my us truck valid for use in europe?i have many,many years of safe driving experience in europe,middle east,former eastern bloc,mexico,canada and the usa.the truck is beautiful and now a classic with a 550 cat engine 15 speed and has served me well for many years therefore i wish to continue to use it as an owner operator.i am an english man.
