I never paid much attention before, but, now that I'm stuck in a hotel, getting the weather on TV without waiting for the regular newscast is nearly impossible. At home, with cable, we had 'weatherscan' which gave a full forecast for our area every half hour or so. With TWC, it SAYS local weather every 9 minutes, but no real actuals. Firing up the PC is time-consuming, and not always a good option. A storm is past before it finishes booting up. Why not a REAL full forecast per locality on a regular time? I'm not one whit interested in the weather in Asia, or London. 'Direct TV' Sucks big time!
