I just took ownership of an old Franchi 20 gauge shotgun (SN 76xxx)I think it is a 48. It has engraving of quail on the left side and pheasants on the right side of the receiver with no finnish. the only finnish is on the top and bottom. I would like to know how old this gun is and if it is a special edition or something. I think the barrel is 26" VR with no choke tube.

If you guys could put an average value on this gun I would appriciate it. It is well worn - used not abused. Looks like it has had manny a shell fired through it. Thanks in advance for your input.
