I have a mercedes E-class (w211) 2.2 CDI 2003 of 160 thousand km done and starte appeared ugly sound between the engine and interior from the outside can not hear anything but the inside is an rattle sound but only at low revs if I little bit increases revs sound disappears. The sound is that iron is in contact with iron.

Can not imagine that may be at fault.
