I have long lists of land grant certificates of the Republic of Texas. I can find info on the ones I happen to know the counties. However, without the county I can't find anything about the grantees. Now I find that 128 counties were carved out of the original Bexar County. Any suggestions on how to track the ones I don't have a county for? File numbers are not consistent. I'm looking for St. Clairs, Montiers, Kelleys,and Tronsons who received grants in late 1839 and 1840. Any help will be appreciated! Lea Hall
