I have had a rock specimen identified as a terrestrial rock, intrusive mafic igneous, gabro. The information that I have found is that a gabro rock is from the earth's crust. Can this gabro type rock also come from outer space as well? This rock was found on the surface and far removed from any possible volcanic activity.
