I have given Christianity forty sevens years of me,I an forty seven. I have always been deeper in thought than what I have been taught. They now have become too political and twisted for my comfort. I am half NATIVE American. Though I have never been given the true beliefs of my ancestors, Christianity, I think was not it. I have always thought of the Buddhist as purity, this has always appealed to me, it is how I feel. One, part of a whole. What my fellow human feels is as I feel, it affects me. All life seems to affect me. My question, how do I start? I have been given a book by my Vietnamese sister, PURE LAND, PURE THOUGHT.It was not she in which had started this fire within me, it has always been there for me. I have read this book, PURE LAND, PURE THOUGHT. Perhaps, No, I wish guidance.I live in St. Louis Missouri, in which how should I proceed? I wish help and not to become lost again? Suggestions?
