Basal ganglia

I have been told that I have a venous angioma located on the right side of the basal ganglia, however doctor's wouldn't operate unless it causes bleed or calcification. Why should I live with this? isn't or shouldn't this be my choice? What exactly does that mean? All the doctors keep saying is that it just "stays there and is harmless". So if it's so harmless, why is it there and what functions of my brains are affected by this? Please help me and give me honest answers. Can I end up dying from this? Can it also turn into an annuryseum?
