I have an irrigation on a timer by zones in our yard. How do I remove one zone without disrupting the rest?

Any irrigation system by zones (whether small or large) is controlled by a small, programmable computer chip. In order to
re-program the chip you would have to start at the beginning again and re-program each zone. The one you want to eliminate can then be left on 0 (no irrigation). That would be the only way you could eliminate that one zone without affecting the other zones.
