I have an early 1800's muzzleloader that belonged to my gg grandfather. He came from Pennsylvania around 1820 to Ohio (Washington Co). I've been told it was flint converted to cap. Lock is by H. Elwell and there's a name on the barrel that starts with "A. Schni. . " (can't read the rest. Barrel is 41" long, 1" OD (8 sided) ID abour 3/8" (7 sided). Ramrod on bottom of barrel. Hair trigger (that works REAL well).

Anyone know anything about this gun? (Approx age, value, origin)
