I have an Acer Aspire one runninig ubuntu remix (jaunty) and I cannot get Stardict to recognise the dictionaries although I have put them in the required folder. The odd thing is that I was running ubuntu desktop (jaunty) and then I had a perfectly running version of Stardict. I installed the programme through synaptic from the normal repositories and untarred the downloaded dictionary archive to produce the three files for the dictionary which I placed in the usr/share/stardict/dic directory using nautilus called with Alt/F2 then gksu nautilus thus becoming root. I did it this way both under ubuntu desktop and that worked and now under remix which wont work. Frankly I am stuck. I have reinstalled the programme a number of times but nothing works. Any Ideas will be welcome.
