I have an 87 Bonneville. I live in Australia and just burnt out both my coils on Saturday. I had previously removed the old zener diode earthing system and put a rectifier regulator in it about 3 years ago and the bike had been fine up until now. Could someone point me in the right direction please on why this may have occurred? Thank you
