I have a small Knurled knob abt 3/4 in outside dia. and abt 1/2 in deep it was in my acc/ pkg and I dont have a clue what it is used for . can someone please help me out. Thanks

If it has a hole in the center of it, it is the muzzle guard for cleaning. It keeps the cleaning rod centered and protects the rifling from wear at the muzzle end when cleaning the bore.
