I believe it was marketed as the sleuth. It was sold in the 70s and early 80s. They also made a version for the James Bond Movie a view to a Kill. The Bond version had 007 on it instead of a star or the PB. It is has 007 anywhere on it then it was the Bond one. In the moview at one point Roger Moore used a Beretta Model 70. Rather than design a model 70 they cheaped out and simply used the mold from model 1934/35 Beretta. Since it was not actually used in the movies ever kids were somewhat disappointed. The gun was in a holseter in the package so you thought it was a PPK but when you opened it learned it wasn't and wasn't even the Model 70. The PPK is the ultimate for fans so these never hit it off much.

I used to have one of these when young, I would actually be interested in getting one again for old time sake if someone wants to unload theirs. I'd prefer a non-Bond one but would take any so anyone with one could feel free to shoot me a message.
