I do IM and recently acquired some new business. The customer transferred his existing mold to me. They produce PP cutting boards. I am using a random copolymer PP natural. Board sizes are 10x14,12x16,14x20. Parts are edge gated. I have no problem filling the part, I am having issues with the boards warping(potatoe chip effect). My technician has ran the gambit as far as proc. temps goes. We are using 60 degree tower water through the molds, should we put a portable chiller on and lower the mold temp so we set up in the mold quicker? Any thoughts will be appreciated.
