I am very interested in obtaining books, audio or material so I can learn to speak this dialect fluently. My grandparents and parents had spoken this language and I plan to pass it down to my children. I can understand it if someone speaks it to me but am unable to respond quickly. I would like to learn how to read, write and speak it. I think it is very important for this to stay alive in my bloodlines. I would like to do this to honor my grandparents and parents. It is a very beautiful language, and I am so sorry that I didn't pay so much attention when I was growing up. My parents wanted me to learn English better and never pushed me to learn Taishan. I also know how to speak Spanish fluently. Please advise on titles and authors of materials I can purchase to accomplish this goal. Thank you so much!!
