I'm sorry I can't help directly with your request at the moment, but I'm also interested in Kinver, Forest House and "The Forest". If somebody's address in genealogical records is given as "The Forest", do you have any ideas as to what this might mean? A tenant of Forest House, living in a cave, or even in a railway carriage??
