I am trying to find out if an old friend is still alive. He was related to the royal family, I believe his mother was related to the current queen was her sister. Not sure.
I am not sure about the spelling of his last name either, sorry, his name was CHRISTIAN (CASTELSKOV ??) He came to the United States and loved it, joined the U. S. Army as a private for the Korean war. The then King of Denmark called him and wondered why he did that because he was already a Colonel in the Danish Army. He was west coast of the U. S. manager for Carlsberg beer after the war is when I met him and was a buddy for years. He was also associated with SAS as a division manager. He attended my wedding in 1950 was a super guy. I would like to get in touch with him if he is still alive, and now I am retired if he is not live would like to research his family ties to the crown. I understand he gave up his succession as a count or duke to a younger brother.
