I am trying to find out how to help my fiance challenge the refusal to allow him a USA passport,despite being a citizen and a naval veteran. He allegedly owes Child support
I believe that his constitional rights are being denied, with regard to 5th amendment and UN Article 13,on liberty.
He is on social security as he has Parkinsons Disease and cannot find a firm who can take his case pro bono.
He needs his paaport to visit and potentially stay with me in the UK, as I too have Parkinsons, and could not afford to settle in the uSA.It has also been suggested that if no one knows of a legal firm who can help, a final year student might take on the case for the experience! Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.
