I am reading a log book of HMS Phaeton which stormed in Port of Nagasaki Japan in 1808 trying to open the country gate to British Empire. In log, every 2 or 3 other day, there is a statement saying " sail makers made Hammock "
I know what is hammock, but wonder if this means special work for sail ship.
Does anybody has idea?
