I am now taking an antibiotic for Strep viridans. In reading to find out exactly what it is and where it came from, I found that it can be caused by tooth extraction. It has been many years since I had teeth extracted during which the dentist left in two root tips (he said it was bone) The tips have since dropped and will be removed soon. Did the left in roots cause this problem?
