I am looking for the history of a large propeller that I am in possession of. It was purchased at a bankruptcy auction probably 15 years ago, from a bankrupt maufacturer located somewhere around Melbourne Florida (I think) The person who purchased it at auction has passed away, and I do not remember all the history but am trying to track that down. The blimp was a prototype and believe it made one test flight in the Florida Keys but was uncontrollable and “got away from them” . After that the investors bailed and the company went under. The blimp was to be used as an aerial crane.
The prop is three blade, 25 feet in diameter, fiberglass, and bolted to an aluminum hub.
Any info about who the manufacturer was, photos, etc. would be appreciated.
The prop has been hanging like a giant ceiling fan inside my restaurant for the past 9 years.
