I am looking for anyone who knew and/or served with my Daddy during the war. He was from Alabama, is now deceased, his name is John Cline Weeks and was a machine gunner. He passed away at a young age, before I could learn of his exact locations and actions during the war. I have a suitcase full of letters he wrote, always "From Somewhere in Italy." I will appreciate any information, as I am planning to write of his experiences and these letters. Thank you for your help, it will be most appreciated!
