I am dying to know more about Remedios Varo's techniques. I know she used oil on masonite that she prepared herself. I know her workmanship resembles egg tempera but is actually a meticulous oil painting executed through a series of glazes. I know the types of surrealist techniques she employed: frottage, grattage, decalcomania, fumage, eclaboussure and soufflage. For the love of God, can someone PLEASE tell me anything they know about what mediums, solvents, pigments, brushes, and tools she (might have) used. I cannot find this sort of information ANYWHERE (and believe me I have been delving).

Thank You!!!
