I am doing some genealogy and my 5th great-grand Mother is said to have been the first principal of a school in the 2nd district. I am guessing it is the all girls school start in that district in the mid 1800's.
Her name was Mary Ann Parent. Maiden name McCoskey. Any information would be helpful.
