I am doing research into some places in South Carolina.I have a question about a supposed Civil War Massacre of sorts at the old Easter Sunday Chruch in Mount Pleasent,SC.Did it happen? It is said that Union forces surrounded the church and opened fire killing all inside it.I can not find any account of this in my research adventures but it is a part of local legend.
