I am an American, living in the Netherlands. I currently own and drive an A180, and my wife has a C Class. What I am wondering, is if my vehicle, as a diesel, would be legal in the United States. As it is paid for, I would like to ship it home, when I go back. It's a great car, and we love driving it, and use it to go almost everywhere. I am confused as to why Americans aren't offered this car, and if it has to do with emissions, or simply because Mercedes doesn't think it will sell. I'd appreciate a reply.
