I am 15 turning 16 March of 2010. I'm currently living in New York, Long Island. My dad has full custody of me because my mom and me don't get along, and we always fight. My dad's girlfriend, Diane, lives upstate NY with her three daughters, Sara, Julie, and Brielle. I have become very close to Diane and Julie. I want to know if when i'm 16, can I get emancipated to go live upstate with Diane and her kids? I feel that I would be happier living with them because when they come down to visit I am always happy.
