This is more of an opinion than fact question. Time was "created" for humans feeble minds to acknowledge the exsistence of some sort of record keeping toward our personal demise. Our minds find it hard to comprehend that there is much more going on that what we individually have swirling around in our own minds. Time gives us a broader sense of the world around us, and puts into words a simple explanation to the cycles of life. If we did not exsist, "time" as we know it would still pass, however no one would care what "time" it was, because no one else in the food chain as we know it, will be late for dinner. (Personally, I think it is one of the reasons Eve should've stayed the hell away from the forbidden fruit. Had she listened, we could all sleep till noon daily, lol)
