I have a beautiful five year old bearded collie. I bring him to the groomer every two weeks. In between i "try" to brush him, but he doesn't sit still., I cant' understand why, as i have been brushing him since he was a puppy like i was told to do.. He is full coat, but once in a while the groomer tells me he is matty, but she always manages to work them out, and he comes out beautiful and mat free.. Any suggestions on how i can make it easier for myself at home to brush him and make it an enjoyable experience for him, as it seems it is not for him.. The groomer said eventually i will have to give him the dreaded "puppy cut", which i refuse to do yet...

Thank you anyone, for your helpful tips!! I'm a very upset beardie owner right now...,but i love him to death and it doesn't seem like he enoys being brushed...
