It depends upon the recovery of sugar in sugarcane. There are so many factors which influence the recovery as Sugarcane variety, Season, Rain fall, region, crushing period etc.
In general a mature sugarcane gives 8.5% to 13% recovery on an average. I some cases it goes up to 14% as in Kolhapur of Maharashtra.
