It pretty much depends on the region you are talking about. What formations they are going to drill through, what type of bits they will use, and if they are going to use a motor, what type of rig is being used, drilling peramiters set forth by the Operator, and the ultimate goal. Generally, here in Oklahoma a 10,000 foot vertical section will take about 13-18 days and the 3-4000 horizontal section will take approximately another 10-12 days.
