How long does it take for the babies to hatch after the egg sac has been made? We have had at least 2 spiders in our window well carrying egg sacs. One day we saw one with what looked like little beads or bumps on its back. We assumed they were babies. A few days later there was only one small cluster on the spider's back. I was able to take a few pictures, but I don't think they turned out very well. I will post them if anyone is interested.

Normally they take around 2 maybe 3 weeks to hatch from the egg sac and only about a week once on the back of the mother
and you said there was lots of what you thought were baby on her back then there were only a few some of them could have fallen off the mother will not wait long for them to catch up or they may have died from not enough food or just hit something by mistake not all the babies will make it to grow up hope this help
