How does the City check for issued Permits?.
I installed Hurricane Shutters in 2006; I did my homework, the company was licensed and insured and when I asked about the permit I was given 2 choices, to get it myself or they could do it for me. Since they are they are the experts, I agreed to pay so they could obtain the permit for me.
Last month I found a Violation Notice on my door stating that they were no permits for the shutters but this is what bothers me, the other three units that used the same company and recommended the company to me did not receive a violation notice. Why would this company pull those permits and not mine? Of course the company is no longer active and the letter I sent them was returned.
Any thoughts or ideas??
