How do I design a longitude correction in my sundial?

Correct me if I'm wrong

My horizontal dial is for Brisbane. The longitude is 153 deg and the standard meridian is 150. This is a 3 deg difference.

I'll then rotate the hour lines by 3 deg to compensate

I think you should tell us, your sundial type, anyway each 1° (deg) is 4 minutes in time, so 3 degree, will be 12 minutes.

let me know your type of sundial (horizontal, vertical, equatorial or other) and if it was designed for your place, (Latitude) and maybe, I can tell you something more.
You see there are a lot of variables, that we have to know to give you a good answer.

Sorry my English, it´s not my first language.
