Can anyone help me with some history from 1928 please.
I am doing some family tree research, and have come across the address: 11 Belle Vue Manningham in connection with a family member who was born there back in 1928.
I believe the house may have been some sort of mother and baby home? or unmarried mother's home?
Can anyone tell me if this is the case please, or do you have an elderly relative who lived in that area in 1928 and could maybe shed some light on it for me please.
Or if someone could point me in the right direction of someone who may be able to answer the question, i.e. a local history society or some such other body of people.
