1992 SOLAR DEVELOPMENT COOPERATIVE founded by Eileen M. Smith, M.Arch.
1993 Eileen M. Smith, M.Arch. released first drawings of 1.3 Million SF Redevelopment entitled "ECO TECHE featuring Science City and the Solar SolutionTM for Kansas City's Union Station"
1994 30,000 SF BI-PV Solar Roof on Intercultural Center at Georgetown University was discovered by Eileen M. Smith, M.Arch. when she spoke at the Women of Vision Conference at Georgetown. At that time, during tours of Georgetown U campus people were being told the BI-PV Solar Roof did not work. Ms. Smith immediately contacted facilities maintenance to determine the truth that it was generating at 95% efficiency. It took six years to get article written by Hoya News in 2000 verifying the solar roof did work.
