Hi, i am a bachelor student of Aerospace engineering and in current semeter we are studiyn an aircraft conceptual design course and i have taken a Supersonic Transport which would cruise at 1.6 mach having total payload 17500 lb and a ranhe of 4200nm i am trying oblique wing cofiguration and our text book is Aircraft Design: A Conceptual Approach by Raymer. The PROBLEM IS that:

"Wing span is coming out to be much larger than fuselage length" which contradict previous supersonic transport oblique wing concepts.
I am stuck and getting no help from no where i will appreciate it if anyone could share any info regarding this
