Hi everyone my 1st post to this group...
My late mother in law was a Charlton (Frances b1919) and lived her early life in Chopwell co Durham.
My wife is trying to track down where my late mother in law fitted into the Charlton family tree, We have her family bible with names going back to the late 1800's but we are stuck with the name of William Charlton's(b1818) wife Margaret's? maiden name.
We have done alll the usual freeDBM, freeCEN, freeREG and census research at Kew but we just cant find the link we are looking for to enable us to go back on the Charlton side.
Please can you help?
