how do we calculate pressure drop(approx.) in cross country LPG pipeline?Say flow rate 280MT/Hr, pipe dia 14 inch & pressure at starting point is 65 kg/cm2. length up to next station is 177 kms.Can we use simple Darcy's formula.or I should ascertain either flow is laminar or turbulent.ignore pr drop across valves etc.
