Hi,

Just came across your posting. My father is a Kangaroo. He lives at Clark's Harbour, Shelburne County, Nova Scotia. Actually today he met another Kangaroos from Yarmouth. They made contact after an article was written about my father in the Yarmouth paper. Their first meeting. My dad, Cpl. Carl Atkinson was in the 4th Troop, Squardon # 2.

I have a picture of the tank "Marion" in my files. I have been exchanging information with the son of another Kangaroo, Bill Miller who is currently writing a new book on the Kangaroos.

If you send your email address I will forward the picture. We are very interested making contact with other Kangaroos and sharing information.

Hi,

My reply should have read that my father is L/Cpl. Carl Atkinson (he was Trooper when he first joined). Also, he was in "A" Squadron 4th Troop.

I should also mention that there is a picture of your father's tank on page 17 of the book called "The Kangaroo in Canadian Service" by Mark W. Tonner.
