Hi Everyone, I have a morton bay fig which keeps getting small black insects which curl the leaf around them. I don't know if it is the fig wasp or not and was hoping someone could help me. They are so small I can't tell if they have wings or not but they have a long thin body approx 3mm long and are black. The fig isn't flowering but each morning there are a number of the young curled leaves which look like they have been folded in half with the insect inside, I have no idea how they can do this being so small (can be one or a few in each leaf). The fig is in a large pot which will be planted in a couple months in the ground so I don't want the insects if they are not the pollinating wasps. Has anyone seen these wasps before?
