I have a .303 enfield rifle with the following markings on it
On shoulder: Royal crown emblem, "V.R.", "L.S.A.C" "1894" and "I", all under each other. On the Stock: a round emblem "enfield rifle" with "I" underneath it as well as a X with a vertical line through the centre. On the barrel: "nitrogen proof" and the emblem of "BSA". I would like to know the history info on this rifle, the monetary value as a collectors item and where can I get a collector that would be interested in this item? I would rather have it preserved in a collection than to hide it forever.
