Anybody that has served in the MFO has either met herb brav or heard of him. I had the priviledge, pleasure and the unbelievably fantastic opportunity to spend three weeks with him. sent their from the other camp to write a story about Herb Brav, and the training of a lifegaurd. The true actuality of it was that i was Fat, overweight, working in a high profile position in a relatively new Peace Keeping Force. To cut this story short, that man, Mr. Herb Brav, took 20 pounds off me, but most of all, he taught me how to swim. Not only taught me, but was right there when i swam the red sea to the island that your barely able to see. what a magnificent, motivated, inspirational, down to earth, leather neck, black ass white man that walked the walk and was truly an inspiration in my life.
