i want to know if a chauhan boy can marry a chauhan girl if both of them have same gotra?
The boy's family and the girl's family don't know each other. I mean the two parties have no relation with each other.
Recently, we talked to a brahmin about this,he told us that if girl changes her gotra to her mother's gotra ( the gotra before marriage ), then the marriage is possible.
And some other expert told us that if boy and girl's families are not in any relation, then the marriage is possible, even if the gotra is same.

Please show us the way.
