Hello, I will shortly be moving to Bitterne from abroad, and would appreciate info on food shops, library,community facilities, buses,etc. I shall be in the Whitworth Crescent area - is the library within walking distance, I am an avid reader? Also, I will be using community bins for waste recycling, for the first time; where I live we do it ourselves,any pointers as to collection days in my area?
