Hello- I am looking for some info on a Rauschenberg piece that I own. It is signed and numbered 13/39. The number 77 is in the bottom right corner. There are two large blue spark plugs and a man and a woman sitting side by side with their arms crossed over their knees. I would be more than happy to post a picture but I'm not sure how to do that. If anyone can be of service please let me know. Thank you.

In addition to the 39 in the edition there were 12 Artist's proofs, an RTP, PPII, 3 GEL and 1 Change Inc. print. There were several other prints in the series (named Romances) - Yoke, Elopement, Pomegranate, Elysian, Castle, Prophecy, and Epic.

I checked Gemini's website but there was nothing from the ROMANCES series listed as currently available. The art market is a little soft right now and RR's prints have traditionally been undervalued when sold at auction - couldn't find any recent auction info on this print but you might try contacting Jim Kempner Fine Art on 23rd St. (NYC) who deals in the print market or Greenfield Sacks Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. You might also contact Gemini directly (they have a gallery in NY and are based in LA). Rather broadly guessing, (and dependent upon condition) I would imagine around $8000 - but that's just a guess.
