Hello All,
Writing memoirs of relation who emigrated to Australia in 1925, at the age of nineteen traveled from Birmingham to Tilbury, I believe by train, my question is, would it have been on the L.M.S. all the way then, or would she have had to change through London, I hope as rail enthusiasts you may know.
I also need to know how would the fare have been paid, perhaps a warrant from the emigration authorities to the railway.
