Hello,

I am researching the detailed circumstances under which Général de Gaulle flew from London to Bordeaux on the 16th of June 1940 onboard Winston Churchill's Dragon Rapide along with general Spears and returned to London the following day on the 17th with the same plane. The pilot is said to have been E. H. Fielden, the King's pilot, but there are no taces of these flights in his logbooks (official and private)consulted at the RAF Museum.

As anyone an idea of who else could have been a pilot for the PM in June 1940?

Many thanks,

Thierry
